Golden oil spot glazes

Ceramist Zhang Gui-Wei graduated from Graduate School of Plastic Arts of National Taiwan University of Arts, has studied under Professor Lin Baojia, the late National treasure master , and Professor Wu Yutang .Learning about the glaze and has laid a solid foundation of it.The famous writer of Song Dynasty, Su Shi once said, if one only has the technology but no art, although there is something in your heart, but unable to make it out by hands .Glaze left by the previous formula, or based on scientific methods of unearthed glaze ingredients, are only open the door to head into the oil droplets , However, the success or failure lies in personal degree of art, that is through the tempered kiln technology. The Entire kiln of Golden Oil droplet Tianmu has only 5% of success can be said that the works is extremely rare. The sparkling golden light can be seen when you hold the tea cup under the sunshine, while turning the tea cup to each angle, can see the colorful glossy refraction from the surface of the glaze, makes you moved and fondle admiringly

Golden oil spot glazes
The term Tianmu comes from the Song Dynasty when the Japanese Buddhist monk of Tianmu Mountain temple brought the tea bowls which were fired by Jianyang Kiln that is one of the most famous eight Kilns, back to Japan. It was recorded on Japan's ancient literature
